For the territorial delegate of ACCIÓ in Camp de Tarragona, Mònica Boquera, "these figures are very positive and show that exporting companies are better resisting the effects of the crises we are experiencing". In this sense, Boquera also pointed out that the figures "show the reality of the exporting companies of Camp de Tarragona beyond the traditional focus on chemicals and automobiles, with a large number of internationalized companies also in sectors such as food or wines and cavas». For his part, Roberto Barros, International Director of the Tarragona Chamber, highlighted the experience of the Tarragona corporation in African markets, especially sub-Saharan ones, "where we are leaders due to our experience and track record." A work that has recently been recognized by the State Chambers with the Internationalization Award. Barros also highlighted the role that ACCIÓ plays in the internationalization of the country.

ACCIÓ Internationalization Week is the main event held annually in Catalonia to promote the internationalization of the Catalan business fabric. This is a strongly consolidated event, this 2022 marks the 29th edition, and this year has also become the meeting point for all public and private agents in the country that support the Catalan company in its expansion processes in abroad.
