The cruelest elimination of the Ganxets in the Europe Cup

Reus Ganxets Miró has put an end to its European adventure. After being eliminated from the Champions League, they have now also done so in the Europe Cup -the second most important continental competition-. It has been a somewhat cruel goodbye, since the Reusenses were harmed in the triple tie that took place in the second phase, of which they have been hosts throughout this weekend and in which the first two classified passed round .

The Ganxets complicated their pass after falling on the first day against the Austrian Linz Froschberg 3-1, with a team made up of the Chilean Paulina Vega, Sara Ramírez and Elvira Rad. Vega gave the only point to the team from the capital of Baix Camp by defeating Anastasia Radzionava 3-0.

In their second match, the Ganxets defeated the Hungarian Budaörsi 3-2, with Ramírez beating Adel Dari (3-0), Rad beating Maria Fazekas (3-0) and Vega beating Dari (3-1). However, Budaörsi's victory against Linz (3-1) condemned Reus to third place on average in the tiebreaker.

In the Spanish Superdivision of Honor, on the other hand, the Ganxets are co-leaders after beating Huijase Jaén by (4-0) on Friday, with victory by Nikoletta Stefanova, Paulina Vega, Sara Ramírez and the double Stenafova-Elvira Rad.
