Four stores in Tarragona, denounced for selling alcohol to minors
The administrative police of the Guàrdia Urbana de Tarragona has denounced different premises of the Part Alta for different infractions and one of them would be that of allegedly selling alcohol to minors.
These inspections and these infractions detected are part of the work of this unit that has been carried out on the busiest days of the Santa Tecla festival, from September 21 to 24. In addition to the sale of alcohol to people under 18 years of age, there are complaints to other places for not complying with the hours established by these local festivals.
In relation to the possible infractions detected in the area of the sale of alcohol to minors, the Guàrdia Urbana proceeded to report four establishments: one located in Plaça de la Font, another in Baixada de Misericòrdia, the third in Calle Sant Agustí and the last one on Via Augusta.
Likewise, violations were also detected due to non-compliance with schedules or other requirements at four other locations. Two of them for not using recyclable cups and selling cans directly (one in Plaça de la Font and the other in Plaça de Les Cols).
The other two, on Rambla Nova and Pau Casals Avenue, for failing to comply with the schedule established for these big days in the city. Finally, three people were also intercepted selling light fixtures on the streets, and the material was confiscated.
